Annual LC Garden Club Tour (08 Jun 2013)

The annual Lake Country Garden Tour will be on June 8 from 9-4. This year we have 10 beautiful gardens on tour. Local artists will be at each garden and there will be a Toonie Raffle for a piece of art at each garden. Master Gardeners will be at various locations to answer your gardening questions. Vic MacDonald of Bees Incorporated will be speaking. Ken Salvail will also be giving two talks on plant health. Both Ken and Vic will be at the Community Garden. We have had tremendous support from the business community of Lake Country. This year's major sponsors for the Lake Country Garden Tour are: Arrowleaf Cellars, Cooper's Foods, Interior Land Reclamation (ILR) Kens's Horticultural Services (KHS) Kel-Lake Greenhouses, Lake Country Timbermart, Lisola Bella Bistro, Nurturing Nature Organics, The Jammery, UBR Services, Winfield IDA Pharmacy, Woodsdale General Store.

Tickets are available at Kel-Lake Grenhouses, Woodsdale Generale Store, Winfield IDA Pharmacy, Farmer's Fruit & Produce, Art Knapp Plantland Kelowna & Vernon, Green & Bear It. This year the proceeds from the tour will go to local community projects. The Lake Country Garden Club members hope the community will come out and support both the plant sale and the Garden Tour 2013.
