Wood Lake is located south of Kalamalka Lake in Lake Country . For ease of access there is a narrow canal linking Kalamalka and Wood Lake . Highway 97 also skirts the western shore of this lake. Turn east off Hwy 97 at Oyama Lake Road, you will find an unmarked launch site at the north east corner of the Lake, turn just before the road leaves the lake shore.

  Beaver Lake (Swalwell) Is located east up and out of the Valley. From Highway 97 in

Lake Country turn east on Beaver Lake Road , follow it about 17 km up the road. (Graded gravel road) A good launch is located at  Beaver Lake Resort (a nominal fee charged for use).

  Dee Lake Chain ( Dee, Island, Deer, and Crooked) are located past Beaver Lake and about 26km from Highway 97. Hand launching is available.

  Okanagan Lake spans the communities of Vernon, Lake Country, Kelowna, West Kelowna, Peachland, Summerland&Penticton.

Launches: 

Safe Harbor  Regional Park in the ward of Okanagan Centre and the second one is off Coral Beach Road in the ward of Carr’s Landing.

Wood Lake – Kokanee, Rainbow Trout, Perch, Chub & Carp.
