for shopping, services & entertainment…just 10 minutes north of UBCO!

It’s an easy and exciting trip for UBCO students & faculty to come north to Lake Country. Our small & friendly city is impossible to miss, directly on Hwy 97 on the way toward Vernon. There are grocery and drug stores, banks, gift shops, a drop-in medical clinic, lab, dentists, coffee shops, restaurants, pubs, liquor stores, hairdressers, theatre, art gallery, arena, skateboard park, ball diamonds and soccer pitches. Parking is easy, and so is walking ---most services are within walking distance along or near Main Street. 

We’re easy to reach – in your car, just turn LEFT onto Hwy 97. On the bus, take #23 to Lake Country (link to bus schedule) Also, on the #90 Connector to Vernon, you can reach Lake Country.
