About Us The Lake Country Chamber of Commerce is a member in good standing with the BC Chamber of Commerce and the Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association. Our programs and committees are overseen by a 12 member volunteer Board of Directors, while the day to day administration and operations are carried out by the Manager and staff.   Our Mission Statement To promote and improve trade and commerce and the economic, civic and social welfare of the Lake Country region.

Who we are

The Lake Country Chamber of Commerce provides many services to its members and the community.  We give your business a voice in the community, promote your business, and provide travel information to visitors; the Chamber also answers enquiries on your behalf.  Enquiries come from interested parties within and outside of our community, potential investors, business people looking to relocate and retirees contemplating making Lake Country their future home. 

What we do

Your Chamber of Commerce presents your concerns to all levels of government on issues that affect our community.  Serving the District of Lake Country, the Chamber sponsors various workshops and seminars.  The Chamber also arranges political forums, trade shows, business excellence awards – just to name a few.  Business after Hours events provide just one more networking opportunity for your business.  Members are encouraged to volunteer on various committees if they choose.  This interaction with other members creates a tremendous networking opportunity, as well as provides a focus to your business within the community.

The Lake Country Chamber of Commerce is an organization that is mandated to serve its membership, the business community and the community at large. It is the united "Voice of Business" that uses its strength to lobby, advocate and gain special benefits for its members. Under these programs our members are eligible for a savings which offer discounts on Merchant Services including Debit, Visa and MasterCard, Group and Health Insurance plans, automotive fuel to name a few.  Locally we offer free raking of your businesses cards or brochures at the Chamber / Visitor Centre, which serves approximately 8,000 + visitors and locals per year.  Our members enjoy discounted advertising rates on our Web site and in our Community Guide.

A special feature of the Lake Country Chamber is the Community & Business Directory delivered to all residents in Lake Country and distributed by the District of Lake Country and Welcome Wagon. If you didn't receive a copy you may pick one up at the Chamber office unit 40 - 9522 Main Street in the Coopers Village Mall.
