Your Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization with a volunteer board of directors comprised of businesses, professionals and residents.

What does the Chamber do?

The basic responsibility is to organize and execute the Chamber’s activities to meet the members’ requirements. It is a voice for business and proudly promotes Lake Country as a great place to live, work and play.

Who finances the Chamber?

Your Chamber is a “Business” and it incurs costs as well as operation expenses similar to that of other types of businesses. Those expenses are funded by the memberships, and fund raising activities.

The Lake Country Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization comprised of business, professionals, residents and other community groups that work together to achieve a healthy economic and socio-economic environment that benefits the entire community.

The Chamber of Commerce is an organization through which our members work together for the common good of the community. Our goal is to build a healthy economy and to improve the quality of life in Lake Country and surrounding area. The Chamber’s mission is achieved through the hard work and dedication of our members and staff who work in partnership with the community, B.C. Chamber of Commerce and Canadian Chamber of Commerce.

The policies and programs of the Chamber are established and directed in response to our members' needs and concerns. They are also determined by our volunteer Board of Directors who employ a General Manager to manage and execute the Chamber’s programs and policies.

Join the Lake Country Chamber of Commerce. Our member fees are invoiced on an annual basis aligned with the standard calendar year.
New members are eligible for a pro-rated fee adjusted each quarter.
